Your Chance to Witness the Best of Christianity

In 2002, I was with a team of people traveling to Egypt with Rev. Dan McNerney to work with the Evangelical Theological Seminary of Cairo (ETSC) to help jump-start a missions department at the school. Since then, ETSC has graduated over 400 pastors dedicated to going out into the Arabic-speaking world to spread the Gospel. In Egypt, those disciples have re-opened churches long abandoned and have planted over a thousand new churches. They are going throughout the Arab-speaking world, North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe spreading the light of Jesus. During the Arab Spring demonstrations, they turned church sanctuaries into hospitals. “Why are you doing this?” the Muslims asked. “Because we are Christians,” the people replied.

Now you can meet the people leading and doing this work. Travel with Dan, a longtime friend of the Chapel, in early April for ten days of inspiration in the land where civilization began. Meet the courageous Christians who live every day by faith. Share their joy and their vision. Travel is safe and comfortable. See the pyramids and the sights at Luxor. More importantly, witness how Christ is bringing peace and reconciliation to the Arab world. Email, Lee Mulder, Missions Outreach Chair for a complete travel packet:  leechicago54@comcast.net.  Departure is March 31, 2019.
